Długo oczekiwane obloty Airbusa A400M i Boeinga 787

W ostatnim miesiącu 2009 roku miały miejsce dwa obloty samolotów. Długo oczekiwany transportowy Airbus A400M wzniósł się w powietrze 11 grudnia 2009 roku w Sewilli. Masa własna samolotu wynosi 70 ton. Maszyna charakteryzuje się możliwością dalekiego zasięgu.

Boeing 787 została oblatany cztery dni później – 15 grudnia ubiegłego roku w USA. Boeing 787 Dreamliner jest samolotem średniego zasięgu, pozwala zabrać na pokład do 330 pasażerów. Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT zamówiły 8 takich maszyn, z opcją na kolejne 6. Mimo opóźnień związanych z produkcją samolotu, oblot odbył się bezproblemowo. Podczas oblotu nie dopisała pogoda i pierwszy lot został skrócony do 3 godzin.
